NEW STUDENTS: THE ACCOMMODATION PROCESS
NEW STUDENTS: THE ACCOMMODATION PROCESS

Affiliating with the Office of Accessibility to receive accommodations can be a seamless process. Whether students have suffered a recent injury, received accommodations in previous institutions, or were recently diagnosed with a condition that impacts their college experience, we will meet the student where they are and work with them to ensure that they are accommodated to provide them with equal access to all facets of college life.

Students already affiliated with the office may need to renew accommodations since accommodations expire at the end of each course, review accommodations, or review their rights & responsibilities.

FACULTY RESOURCES
FACULTY RESOURCES

Faculty members are our first responders in the accommodations process. Faculty members have the most interactions with students and are more likely to notice that a student is struggling and may need more assistance. Here are some resources to assist faculty with understanding accommodations, how to refer students tour office, faculty rights & responsibilities, and how to recognize and respond to a student in distress.
